Registration is now open for the upcoming Carrollton Trails 5K. Currently in its 4th year, the Carrollton 5K has become one of the city’s favorite events. This year, the run will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Creekview High School.
Participants can register now until April 26. With your registration, you’ll get a Dri-FIT t-shirt, a race bag and a timing chip. This year’s run includes a timed 5K and a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. Families are welcome, so be sure to invite everyone you know to come down and cheer along the racers. Those who finish with the best times will receive medals after the race, while prizes will also be awarded to the top runners with dogs. Refreshments will be provided to participants after the race.
The Carrollton Trails 5K is a terrific spring event for the whole family. Click here to register. The cost of registration is $15 ("Get Fit" members receive a $3 discount). The 5K race begins at 8 a.m. The Fun Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
