Back in 2010, Hyundai debuted their Blue-Will concept car, and the world let out a collective gasp at its awesomeness.

And now we have visual confirmation that a version of the Blue-Will concept will be coming to Van Hyundai  very soon.

Test mules (test vehicles equipped with prototype components) have been spotted out and about with a few Priuses in tow, apparently to test how the engine does in comparison, which means that Hyundai is finally getting ready to throw down their green car A-game.

Hyundai already has the Sonata Hybrid, but the Korean automaker looks to be gearing up to meet its heaviest competition in the green car wars with this new Blue-Will variation.

A little background on the Blue-Will Concept (since it's been a few years):

Powered by a 152 horsepower 1.6-liter direct-injection 4-cylinder engine and a 100kW electric motor, the Blue-Will concept was seen as "eco-sleek" with its beautiful contours and aerodynamic body frame.

According to caranddriver.com, "A hybrid-only model - is a definite possibility in the future, according to Hyundai. And, given Hyundai's recent bent toward conquering every automotive segment and its competent recent products, we'd expect such an effort to provide formidable competition to the bestselling Prius."

And with these new mules running around, one can only guess that Hyundai's newest hybrid will be on the market very soon, and is sure to have the Prius shaking in its chassis.

No definitive details have been released, but you can be sure that once this bad boy hits the market, the hybrid game will never be the same.
