A shadowy teaser image released by Hyundai in early March has come to life. While the rendering (left) is pretty realistic, the actual car is even better, so check out pictures of the redesigned 2015 Sonata below!
Since its start, the top-selling Sonata has been a hit with consumers. The sedan has managed to stay on trend with the times through every generation of its redesigns and this year marks another moment of transition. Heading into its seventh phase, the 2015 Hyundai Sonata shows more maturity in its styling, with a refined look that pulls from Hyundai's new Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language. The car's prominent creases and swooping curves have been pared down and replaced with smoother surfaces and softer angles, which creates an overall more sophisticated look and one that will better meet the expectations of today's family sedan shoppers. The 4-door is also an inch longer and wider than before, meaning that you can expect a slight increase in passenger and cargo volume. Additionally, the use of a new high-strength steel body has made the car 30 percent more rigid, so drivers will enjoy greater stability.

Stay tuned for more details about mechanical changes, powertrain options and other highlights for the American version of the Sonata, which is scheduled to make its first U.S. appearance at the New York International Auto Show between April 18 and 27.
