Hyundai has just revealed their newest concept: the Vision G. The new coupe model debuted at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in August to a wowed crowd of spectators.
This latest concept from the automaker is yet another look into the future of cars that focuses on utility and tech. The Vision G concept is Hyundai’s idea for the next generation of luxury sedans that combines power, performance and style.
“In keeping with a design that speaks to the owner rather than ‘the spectators’ who might see the car on the road, Vision G appears dynamic and in constant motion,” said Christopher Chapman, head of Hyundai’s U.S. design center and leader of the coupe’s design team. “After all – and if all is right in the world – the only time an owner sees the exterior of the car is when it’s standing still.”
There are many exceptional features on the Vision G that range from the practical – a powerful 5.0-liter Tau V8 engine – to the fantastical – an automatically opening door that mimics a valet. And it’s this marriage of practicality and fantasy that seems to drive the Vision G and Hyundai’s hopes for the future of the luxury sedan market.
