The Hyundai Veloster is getting some amazing new updates for 2016. The popular coupe model is revving up to be even more turbocharged than its current incarnation, with a new dual-clutch transmission, an updated wheel design and a brand-new Rally Edition.

Hyundai debuted the 2016 Veloster at the Chicago Auto Show in February. The biggest news was the new Rally Edition that coupe shoppers in Carrollton will be eager to drive. Building on the Veloster’s current Turbo R-Spec model, the Veloster Rally Edition features a performance-focused suspension, carbon-fiber-look aerodynamic accents, unique floor mats and exterior badging, and lightweight wheels.

Looking at the Veloster Turbo model, this bad boy comes with a new performance-oriented 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, as well as a sportier interior design, a new machine-finished turbo-exclusive wheel design and an enhanced electroluminescent gauge cluster. Those who opt for the regular non-Turbo coupe will get optional black seats with yellow stitching and a new 17-inch wheel design.

Other new features on all Veloster models include a revised hood without vent accents, a dark gray grille surround and new audio/navigation system functions. More performance-focused features are also available, such as direct injection on each model's engine that ensures a nice increase in fuel economy, as well as a more agile driving feel and lower emissions.

The 2016 Hyundai Veloster should arrive at Van Hyundai sometime this summer. The Veloster Rally will hit the market starting in May. Only 1,200 units will be available this year so contact us today to learn how you can reserve your very own model.
