Van Hyundai is proud to announce that the D-BAT Gallegos youth baseball team has won the Connie Mack World Series. The national champs is a Texas-based team made up of young baseball players aged 17 and under.

Van Hyundai is a proud sponsor of the D-Bat Gallegos, with funds going to local youth baseball players to help them financially as they play for the team. As a show of thanks, the players presented our managing partner, Richard Lipsey, with the championship ring. We are very proud of our boys in blue who worked so hard to become national champions.

Our boys were the youngest team to participate in the Connie Mack World Series. They went up against undefeated Midland Redskins, who had previously won the series 13 times. They defeated the Redskins 7-5 in the final game, giving the Gallegos the national title.

"It's a team of destiny," a team member said said. "We came along and just played baseball. It's awesome."
