Hyundai’s most recent redesign of the 2016 Elantra is getting a new trim level: the Value Edition. Already offered in SE, Sport and Limited trims, the Elantra's new Value Edition boasts several fantastic features, all at just a slightly higher price than the sedan's base trim.

Amenities featured on the Elantra Value Edition include unique 16-inch alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel, heated front seats, a power sunroof, pushbutton start and side mirror turn signals. Under the hood, all trims are powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces around 145 horsepower and 130 pound-feet of torque. The new compact sedan also boasts over 110 cubic feet of cargo space, which beats out many competitors in its class, including the Honda Civic and Ford Focus.

Those wanting a sporty driving feel out their next sedan will also find a lot to love in the 2016 Elantra’s McPherson strut front suspension and gas shock absorbers, as well as its impressive six speed automatic transmission that affords the car excellent fuel numbers.
