Sleek, stylish and comfortable, the Hyundai Tucson and Azera have snagged top spots in the compact crossover SUV and large car categories in AutoPacific’s 20th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSAs).

“New car buyers have come to expect quality. These awards show how Hyundai is also focused on their customer’s needs and desires,” said Daniel Hall, vice president, AutoPacific.

Based on survey responses from more than 65,000 owners of new 2015 and 2016 model-year cars and light trucks, the yearly survey measures owner satisfaction on 50 separate attributes.

2016 Hyundai Tucson

The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is available in four grades: SE, Eco, Sport and Limited. Standard features on the base SE include 17-inch alloys, automatic headlights, LED headlight accents, heated mirrors, privacy glass, a rear spoiler and power accessories. On the entertainment front, the compact SUV gets Bluetooth, a 5-inch touchscreen and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player included.

Buyers can choose between a 2-liter four-cylinder (SE), and a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine.

Safety takes center stage on the Tucson with top-tier equipment at no additional cost: antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, active front head restraints, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, hill-hold assist and hill descent control.

2016 Hyundai Azera

Offered in base and Limited trims, the five-passenger sedan is luxuriously equipped with standard features like 18-inch alloys, automatic headlights, foglights, heated mirrors, blind-spot monitoring, keyless ignition and entry, dual-zone automatic climate control and leather-appointed seating. For 2016, the savvy sedan also gets adaptive cruise control with stop-start technology, as well as an electronic parking brake with an automatic vehicle hold function at no extra cost on the Limited.

Standard state-of-the-art electronics include Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, an 8-inch touchscreen interface with navigation, a rearview camera, and a 14-speaker audio system with satellite radio and HD radio.

Standard safety features like antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, as well as a slew of airbags will give you peace of mind with every mile.

The 2016 Azera gets a powerful 3.3-liter V6 as standard.
