No matter how many times you visit the Dallas Zoo – it never gets old! The world-class, 106-acre Dallas Zoo features some of the rarest and craziest creatures from around the world. As a top attraction for visitors and locals alike, this is the place where wild style is considered the norm.
The award-winning Giants of the Savanna has been a major hit with visitors in recent years and it’s easy to see why. It’s the only habitat in the U.S. where elephants mix alongside giraffes, zebras and other African species.

Another key exhibit is Wilds of Africa. The 25-acre tract features six African ecosystems including the ultramodern Jake L. Hamon Gorilla Convention Research Center. It’s the first zoo exhibit in the world to include every major habitat of an entire continent.
On top of these must-see attractions, you can also experience a one-mile tour through six habitats – bush, desert, forest, river, woodland and mountain environments.
These are just a few of the many exhibits on display. Seeing everything that this first-class zoo has to offer in one-day would be very difficult, if not impossible.
