The SEMA auto show is the one place automakers from across the globe can show some of their wildest creations, and for this year’s outing, Hyundai joined forces with Rockstar Performance Garage to develop a nitrous-powered Santa Fe Concept. Designed specifically for off-roading, this beast of a vehicle is one CUV you’d want to get your hands on.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Santa Fe Concept is its mean appearance. It features rock sliders and bumpers, 17-inch off-road KMC XD 301 Turbine bead-lock wheels, 35-inch off-road tires, and custom headlamps, taillamps and a roof rack that give it a fierce appearance. On top of these exterior enhancements, the vehicle receives a 3.3L Lambda V6 engine which is paired with a four-wheel-drive configuration.
Additional features included on the Santa Fe Concept include:
- Odyssey batteries
- AEM cold air intake
- 2.0 KING coil-overs front
- 2.5 KING shocks with finned reservoir rear
- Mishimoto cooling system
- Nitro Gear gears
- Nology high-performance wires
- A custom suspension setup
- WARN winch
- Leather interior
- KICKER audio system
- Magnaflow custom exhaust
With so many upgrades, the Santa Fe Concept is a force to be reckoned with on the road. We’re impressed by the high-powered model and hope similar creations by Hyundai in the future.
