Bring the family to downtown Carrollton on Saturday, October 22, 2016, for a one-of-a-kind outdoor presentation of the 1984 classic film “Ghostbusters.” Held in partnership with Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District, this free special event is a great way to tap into the Halloween spirit!
All the fun starts at 5 p.m. sharp with pumpkin painting and a free mini-pumpkin giveaway. Following the activity, attendees will be treated to a showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” as the sun sets. “Ghostbusters” will begin immediately after the 20-minute episode, providing a night full of fun and excitement for all.
Aside from the movie, the DFW Ghostbusters fan group will be bringing a replica Ecto-1 and 8-foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man to the event for attendees to get their pictures taken with. There will also be several individuals dressed up as Ghostbusters, as well as special performances of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” by the RL Turner Lionettes.
