2017 Hyundai Sonata Awarded By Automotive Science Group

2017 Hyundai Sonata

The 2017 Hyundai Sonata was recognized for its fuel efficiency by Automotive Science Group, earning the company’s “Best Economic Performance” award in the full-size sedan category. Its sister vehicle, the Sonata Hybrid, was also given the honor of “Best All-Around Performance.”

“The recognition by ASG is a testament to Hyundai’s commitment to all aspects of performance and providing the best possible experience for our customers,” said Brandon Ramirez, senior group manager, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “Our high marks across these measures demonstrates our drive to do better, not just in one aspect but across the board.”

Automotive Science Group utilized their annual all-around performance assessment, the Automotive Performance Index, to determine which vehicles were in the running for awards. They took everything from social and economic performance to cost of ownership and operating costs into consideration when creating the analysis.

On sale now at Van Hyundai, the 2017 Sonata and Sonata Hybrid offer excellent performance and deliver an exceptional driving experience.
