Hyundai Motor Group continues to demonstrate its dedication to sustainability. Through its collaboration with Glovis America, 21 Hyundai XCIENT hydrogen-powered electric trucks have been deployed for clean logistics. Hyundai mentions that these zero-emission trucks will move vehicle parts from regional suppliers to its Metaplant facility.
The project will begin by using a temporary hydrogen refueling station, but a permanent one will be constructed later on-site. This effort could revolutionize the trucking sector, as hydrogen-powered trucks emit significantly less pollution than diesel and other fuels.
