What's New For the 2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid?

There were no major changes for this year's model, but the SEL Tech Package that was optional last year is now standard on the SEL trim. Hyundai is preserving this great model and continuing to provide an efficient vehicle for day to day commutes.

The IONIQ Hybrid has three available trim levels: Base Blue, SEL, and Limited. It is a compact hatchback that can comfortably seat five adults. It boasts an estimated fuel economy of 55 mpg city and 54 highway, which is the best on the market for non-plug-in hybrids. The IONIQ also has regenerative brakes that aid in charging the battery.

The base Blue trim other standard features include 15-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, satellite and HD radio, automatic headlights, keyless ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, selectable driving modes, height-adjustable front seats, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a driver information display, split folding rear seats, smartphone integration for Apple and Android, hands-free connectivity, backup camera, USB port and a tilt-telescoping steering wheel.

The SEL steps up to LED daytime running and taillights, a charge-only USB port, heated outside mirrors, leather steering, a rear center armrest, power driver seat, upgraded information display, blind spot monitoring, inside and outside chrome accents, adaptive cruise, rear cross traffic alert, automatic braking, and a lane assist system.

The top of the line Limited builds on the SEL features plus adds 17-inch wheels, LED cabin lighting, xenon headlights, Hyundai's Blue Link telematics, leather interior, sunroof, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The optional Ultimate package includes rear parking sensors, adaptive headlights, driver-seat memory, wireless charging dock, rear air vents, GPS navigation, a cargo cover, an eight-speaker Infinity audio system, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display.
