What's New For The 2020 Hyundai Sante Fe?
The Hyundai Santa Fe is a quality SUV that has been in production since 2000 for the 2001 model year. The 2020 Santa Fe model will be the 19th model year for this vehicle. No vehicle stays in production for over 19 years without having a reputation for being reliable and popular and that's the case with the Santa Fe. The Santa Fe just got a huge remodel for the 2019 model year that marks the fourth-generation Santa Fe, which continues with the 2020 model year.
With the 2020 model year, the Hyundai tweaked some standard safety equipment and made them optional features. These features include blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic warning system which are both available as standard features on higher trim levels. They did, however, add a blind spot mirror.

2020 Santa Fe Has Abundant Features
The 2020 Santa Fe trim levels include the SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels, with the Limited trim being the highest. The base-level trim (SE) comes standard with tons of life-saving safety technology and a seven-inch touchscreen that includes a USB port and is Apple Play and Android Auto compatible. The next trim level is the SEL which includes proximity entry and push to start, Blue Link emergency communication, heated front seats, and fog lights. Features available on the limited model include all previously mentioned features, plus a head-up display, integrated navigation, and rain-sensing wipers.
2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Performance
The standard engine for the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine capable of producing a maximum of 185 horsepower. The standard engine is relatively decent on fuel economy averaging 22 city/29 highway miles per gallon. The SEL and Limited trims have optional 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines that can produce up to 235 horsepower. This added power lowers the average fuel economy to roughly 20 city/27 highway miles per gallon.
Packed with Safety Features
The standard safety equipment for the 2020 Santa Fe includes traction control, forward collision warnings, and assistance (in the form of automatic braking), driver inattention warning systems, and more. The higher trim levels also provide lane-keep assistance and lane departure warnings and rear cross-traffic alerts.
The 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe maintains the same high standard that the model has presented itself with in the past. It's truly one of the best and most reliable mid-size SUV models on the market.
