2021 Hyundai Sonata Exterior

What's New For the 2021 Hyundai Sonata?

For 2021, Hyundai introduces a more performance-focused N model into the lineup. Not only does the Sonata N pack more power, but it also receives a track-tuned suspension. Furthermore, all of the upper trim levels now benefit from Safe Exit Assist. By monitoring for vehicles approaching from the rear, this system helps prevent passengers from opening their doors into oncoming traffic.

2021 Sonata Trims & Features

The base Sonata SE is a serious value. It comes loaded with today's hottest features, including an 8.0-inch touch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone support. A stylish set of 16-inch alloy wheels enhance the sedan's appearance. Drivers who desire a few more amenities should consider the SEL trim, which brings dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats.

Another notch up the trim ladder is the Sonata SEL Plus. Hyundai elevates its curb appeal with a new 19-inch wheel and tire package. Meanwhile, Hyundai's nifty Digital Key essentially transforms your phone into a key. You'll be able to remotely start the engine, set the interior temperature, and lock/unlock the doors. Upgraded upholstery and a digital gauge cluster are also featured on the Sonata SEL Plus.

Sonata Limited is luxurious. It adds ventilated front seats and a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen with navigation. A Bose premium audio system gives your music a more stunning sound. With the use of Hyundai's Remote Smart Parking Assist system, the Sonata Limited can park itself without you even being behind the wheel.

The Sonata Hybrid offers three trim levels: Blue, SEL, and Limited. The features list for the base Blue trim is what you'll get on the standard Sonata SE trim.  On the Hybrid SEL trim, dual USB ports are added, along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless charging, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. Like the standard Sonata's Limited trim, the Hybrid model's Limited trim offers the same luxurious features. The Sonata Hybrid Limited has a 205-watt solar panel roof that charges the 12-volt and hybrid lithium-ion batteries. This can give a couple of additional miles of range each day.

New for 2021 is the high-performance N model. Aside from offering more driving excitement, it also has a more aggressive look.
