What's New for the 2022 Hyundai Accent?
Hyundai's popular subcompact sedan returns for 2022 with a few updates. A new engine immobilizer anti-theft system now comes standard. Every trim also receives an automatic transmission. Last year's available manual transmission has been discontinued.
2022 Accent Trims & Features
Hyundai offers the Accent in three trim levels. The base Accent SE is a perfect match for budget-minded car shoppers. Standard equipment includes a 5.0-inch touchscreen, a hands-free Bluetooth phone system, and a rearview monitor.
The mid-level Accent SEL brings an upgraded infotainment unit, which features an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone connectivity. Dual charging USB ports are included as well. Meanwhile, a set of 15-inch alloy wheels bolster the sedan's exterior styling.
Atop the range sits the more luxurious Limited trim. While a hands-free Smart Trunk makes it easier to load cargo, heated front seats make winter driving more comfortable. Larger 17-inch alloy wheels also come equipped on the Accent Limited.
2022 Hyundai Accent Horsepower
All versions of the 2022 Hyundai Accent use a 1.6-liter, Smartstream four-cylinder engine. It generates a competitive 120 horsepower. An automatic continuously variable transmission ensures smooth and efficient performance.
Hyundai Accent Safety
When driving the new Accent, you will remain safe. Upper trims receive a driver's blind-spot mirror. During emergencies, available Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist can automatically trigger your brakes.
