What's New for the 2022 Hyundai Elantra?

The 2021 model year was a big year for the Hyundai Elantra, which saw a total refresh inside and out and the start of a new Elantra generation. The Elantra expanded and diversified its performance features in 2021. This year, the Hyundai Elantra builds on that upgrade by introducing a new trim called the Elantra N driven by a stronger engine. The Elantra is also produced as a hybrid that gracefully combines performance and efficiency with gasoline engines.

2022 Elantra Trims & Features

The Hyundai Elantra comes in seven trims in 2022, including four regular trim levels, a new Elantra N model, and two trims in the hybrid edition. The regular Elantra comes loaded with features on all trims. The base trim level, called the SE, has an eight-inch touchscreen interface with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Most other trims have wireless app support as well. The base trim starts with two USB charging ports and a four-speaker audio system. Its seats have cloth for upholstery, and the driver's seat is height-adjustable. The SEL trim level, which is next, has a stronger sound system. It also adds satellite radio and upgrades to an automatic climate control system with two zones. A Bose sound system and digital key entry system are available. You can get heated front seats and wireless phone charging, which are standard conveniences starting with the Limited.

Additionally, the Limited provides you with upgraded leather upholstery, a voice recognition system for infotainment, and a leather steering wheel. The Hybrid Blue features a hybrid mechanical system and full LED lighting. The Hybrid Limited gets exceptional fuel economy and memory settings for the mirrors and driver's seat. The N Line has sporty accents, and the Elantra N gets more power.
