The 2017 Hyundai Elantra has finally been unveiled. As one of the automaker’s most popular models, the Elantra is beginning its most recent generation with a winning formula that includes fun-to-drive agility, fantastic fuel economy and gorgeous styling.

A Sculpted New Exterior

The all-new 2017 Elantra boasts a fully redesigned exterior design that features a more sculpted body style, as well as Hyundai’s famous hexagonal grille that now includes unique vertical LED daytime running lights and available HID headlights with Dynamic Bending Lights. An aerodynamic rear bumper bottom spoiler has also been added to the new Elantra, as has a rear decklid and underbody covers.

The new Elantra is also available with a swath of other fantastic features, such as LED door handle approach lights, LED taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED turn signals in the side mirrors. Drivers will be able to choose between eight exterior paint colors on this newest model as well, five of which are brand-new to the sedan.

A Modern Interior

The interior cabin of the 2017 Elantra showcases exactly why Hyundai is such a popular and appealing brand. The newly redesigned cabin gets a more “driver-oriented design” that optimizes interior space, adds more technology features and sports higher-quality materials.

Available amenities inside the all-new Elantra include a 4.2-inch TFT LCD instrument display, integrated driver memory functions, dual-automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and ergonomic front seats.

All-New Powertrains

On top of all these terrific new features, the 2017 Elantra also gets two new powertrain options that improve both performance and fuel economy. The base engine is a 2.0-liter Nu MPI Atkinson four-cylinder that generates 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque.

The second available powertrain is a 1.4-liter Kappa turbocharged GDI four-cylinder that provides even more fuel economy, as well as an increase in torque. The 2.0-liter four can be paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, while the 1.4-liter four gets an EcoShfit seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The all-new 2017 Hyundai Elantra is due to arrive at Van Hyundai sometime next year. Stop by today to learn even more about the next-generation of this very popular sedan.
