The 2017 Hyundai Elantra is garnering quite the praise these days for its dynamic design. Recently, the four-door sedan received the 2016 International Design Excellence Bronze in the Automotive & Transportation 2016 Category. The prestigious award was handed down to the all-new Elantra for its outstanding and one-of-a-kind design.

“This top honor for the 2017 Elantra shows that Hyundai is committed to creating bold and extraordinary designs,” said Peter Schreyer, president and chief design officer of Hyundai Motor Group.

For 2017, the Elantra has been given a complete makeover. Notable enhancements include new interior and exterior styling, updated engines and a plethora of new high-tech features.

Outside, the four-door compact sedan loses its dramatic creases that previous models embody. It also gets a new hexagonal grille and new headlights and taillights for a more refined and sophisticated look. Behind the wheel, the Elantra’s interior is very comfortable and exudes refinement.

Available in three trims, SE, Eco and Limited, the 2017 Elantra is the perfect pick if you’re looking for exceptional value in a compact car. Standard features on the SE include 15-inch wheels, AC, full-power accessories, height-adjustable font seats, a tilt/telescope steering wheel, and a six-speaker sound system with satellite radio.

The SE and Limited versions comes standard with a 2.0-liter four that generates 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque while the Eco gets a 1.4-liter turbocharger that produces 128 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque.

On the safety front, the Elantra comes standard with an army of airbags, antilock brakes, and stability and traction control.
