For the second time, the Hyundai Elantra has won the North American Car of the Year award, beating out the Nissan Sentra and other runners up. The four-door sedan has been recognized by the North American Car, Utility, and Truck of the Year automotive media jury. The jury consists of a diverse group of journalists from different outlets throughout Canada and the U.S.

At the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, Hyundai unveiled the Santa Cruz pickup truck concept (pictured above). The design of this unique truck results from Hyundai listening to customers and to what type of truck they found most appealing. Several years later, the automaker has confirmed that it is manufacturing the Santa Cruz starting next year.

Hyundai has recently announced a reboot in the IONIQ as a brand dedicated to electric vehicles, embodying the company's vision in smart mobility. Hyundai Motors is devoted to delivering super-fast charging and ample interior designs with three EV brands to hit the market in the next four years. The models will include IONIQ 5, 6, and 7. The IONIQ 6 will come built on the sedan concept, while IONIQ 5 and 7 are built as SUVs.
